Rogers Corporation is the newest vendor added to our product line. They manufacture BISCO® Silicones and PORON® Urethane foams.
BISCO® Silicones are a full line of cellular, specialty and solid silicone materials produced in roll-stock that can be fabricated for industrial applications into gaskets, heat shields, fire stops, seals, cushions and insulation. These materials are resistant to UV, ozone, and extreme temperatures. They are especially resilient to mechanical fatigue and carry stringent UL flame ratings.
BISCO® Cellular Silicones are available in a wide range of firmnesses and are ideal for use as gaskets and seals, cushions, and thermal and acoustic insulation in demanding applications. These silicone products are perfectly suited for the critical demands in transportation equipment, communications and electrical enclosures, electronic products and components, industrial machinery and appliances. BISCO® Specialty Silicone materials include acoustic barriers, a patented fire blocking material, a silicone coated fiberglass cloth and molded silicone foam tubes. BISCO® Solid Silicone materials are designed for high temperature/high pressure gasketing. Solid silicone grades are available with fiberglass reinforcement for added stability and increased strength. PORON® Cellular Urethane foams are flexible and offer a broad range of design solutions for sealing, gasketing and energy absorption. Low compression set and low outgassing features make these foams ideal for telecommunications, automotive, electronic, and other industrial applications. They exhibit high resiliency, good vibration damping and impact absorption. Parts made from PORON® urethanes continue to perform after constant and repeated deflection. Components will not loosen, and gasketing integrity will be maintained. These materials are easily die cut and fabricated to shape. Various thicknesses of PORON® urethanes are available even for space constrained applications.
